  • How do I receive more information on a store?
    Once you complete our Confidentiality Agreement, we will email you a complete information package. This package will include photos and directions to the store.

  • Why do I have to sign a Confidentiality Agreement?
    While we understand that the Confidentiality Agreement requirement might be an inconvenience, we have pledged to our clients that we will protect both their sensitive financial information and their privacy. In many cases the store employees do not yet know the store is for sale, and many owners do not want to alarm their employees prematurely.

  • How do I return my signed Confidentiality Agreement?
    Please fax your completed Agreement to (419) 818-5250. Please make sure your email address is legible on the Agreement, since we will be sending you a store information package by email, unless you request otherwise.

  • How soon can I visit a store?
    Once we have received your signed Confidentiality Agreement and have sent you an information package, you can visit the store at your convenience. However, unless you have made prior arrangements with Performance Properties we must ask that you honor the terms of the Confidentiality Agreement, and refrain from talking to store employees about a possible purchase of the business.

  • Are lottery sales included in the listed inside sales?
    No. We do not include lottery, lotto, or money order sales in our posted inside sales. We clearly ask each seller to separate those categories when providing us with financial information.

  • Does Performance Properties represent sellers, or buyers?
    In almost all cases we represent the seller. We represent the seller for all the listings you will find on this site.

    No. We represent the seller for all the listings you will find on this site. We are compensated only by the seller.

  • Does Performance Properties provide financing services?
    Performance Properties works with several banks and authorized SBA lenders. While we do not recommend any individual lender, we can provide you with a list of potential lenders and their loan officers so you can compare each company's terms with those obtained from your own research of other institutions, and make the best choice for your particular needs.
